Chapter II

Membership

Article 4

The membership in the Association shall be divided into:

Ordinary / Regular Members:

Member shall be

a: A U.A.E. citizen

b: Not less than 18 years age

c: Having good character

d: Not convicted by any court of law for breach of honesty and morality ot been expelled from any other club or Association

Associate Member:

Conditions of Regular membership shall be applicable to the Associate members, Except that he need not be a National but -Should be a resident of the U.A.E.

Honorary Member:

Honorary membership is granted by the Association's Board of Directors to those who have rendered meritorious service to the country or the Association, or those who have distinguished themselves in the field of public services.

Rights and Duties of Members

Article 5

Ordinary / Regular Member

• Participate in the elections of the Board of Directors.
• Discuss, suggest, and vote in meetings of the General Assembly of the Association.
• Promote the objectives of the Association.
• Adhere to the regulations of the Association's Constitution.

Associate Membership

• Discuss in the meetings of the General Assembly.
• Have access to the Association properties by participating in all its activities.
• Promote and adhere to the objectives of the Association.
• Follow the regulations of the Association's Constitution.

Article 6

A duly completed application form shall be sent to the Secretary. During the first meeting of the Board of Directors they shall decide on the application.

Article 7

Applicant shall be informed about acceptance of his I her membership according to the decision of the Board of Directors within two weeks. In case of refusal, reasons shall be assigned.

Article 8

Membership in the Association shall end in the following cases:

• Resignation
• Non adherence of any of the membership's conditions, entailing termination of Membership.
• Death.
